CAD Modeling & Animation
I have experience working with AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and 3DS Max to design models, drawings, renderings, and animations for various products and projects. The modeling projects implement Human Factors principles and take into consideration ergonomic measurements to be designed for various audiences, and the animation project incorporates product and environment design. elements. These models and video provide accurate visual representations of the size, shape, and functionality of the devices or environment. Scroll to learn more information about these projects.
Poké Tree
I designed the Pokémon inspired lamp "Poké Tree" as a way to merge my passions for the video game series and 3D modeling. The design is composed of three levels with various "Poké Ball" designs that showcase the diversity of the tools. The top layer features a Poké Ball opening to reveal a lightbulb which is used as the lamp's light source. Click on "Poké Tree PDF" button below to view the dimensions in more detail.
Additional 3D Modeling
In addition to the Poké Tree, I have 3D modeled products for various purposes including a standard tripod and an original product called "The Adaptable Music Stand". These projects built on my previous knowledge and modeling to create visualizations of products that could be physically produced.
Animation
Outside of modeling, for my final project of my Computer Aided Design course, I created an animation based on Peach's Castle in Super Mario 64 released on the Nintendo 64 console. The animation features many of the castle's elements (including the music!) and uses the camera as if the viewer was playing the original game.
